Lori Fujimoto has been drawing and painting as long as she can remember and has never stopped making art. Inspired and encouraged by her high school art teacher to increase her knowledge and develop her technique, Lori formalized her training earning a BFA in Printmaking at Colorado State University. In the years following graduation, Lori has worked with a variety of printmaking and painting mediums, experimented with mono-printing techniques, and completed work in abstract and graphic design.
Raising and supporting two children consumed time and energy, but Lori always found art in her everyday activities. After a varied work history in business and as an education professional, she is now devoting her time to her true passion – creating art.
Lori’s most current work is landscape painting in traditional and impressionist styles. She has exhibited in Colorado and California, and has work included in many private collections.
